Since the 1960s, meat production on planet Earth has doubled. It's not wonderful because of the loss of energy between grass and cow. So technology is part of the solution, but you and I have to change our behavior. If we all decide we want to meet rich diet like Argentina or Australia or North America, then you can kiss goodbye to all of the forests on this planet. But if you eat less meat, you can make a big difference. And you can allow large areas of the planet to become reforested,. stabilizing the climate, stabilizing those ecosystems. You really can make a difference.
