What Does All This Mean?
The Chinese are wrestling with the consequences of lack of economic growth over the last 15 years. The economy isn't working anymore, it's not really growing, and post 2020 after COVID, everything is blamed on zero COVID this year. We've confused CPIs for economic activity, when in fact the post 2020 environment never really recovered all that much or all that well to begin with.
