The Name Flux Connotes Change in Web Development
The name flux is so great because it connotes change. This directly confronts one of the scariest parts of web development, which is that everything is changing. We're always afraid that some element of this big architecture we're working with at the browser and the server and device isn't going to keep up. So I think one important aspect of that is how well the couple of flux is from React. There's nothing really inherently built into React to support flux.
