How Do We Find Connection With God?

We long for a mellowness of heart and contentment of soul that only god himself can give us. The two main barriers to prayer, initially are how we see god and how we see ourselves. We get into prayer and we think that god is like judging us. And what we really, really long for is life with god. So i believe this question that the disciples ask lord teach us to pray is really a question about the meaning of lifethey ar asking jesus Teach us how to find connection with the father and help us to find what we really,. really long for.
