The Lesson of the Desert

The desert is where we learned the lessons that they were suppos to learn in their testing. If they need to learn how to wait on every word, and apparently they did, cause they had to do one well rather than go to 12 wells and 70 palm trees. There's no there's no flowing stream in the desert where te shepherds are. Still waters is the water that's left over after the rains of the rainy season. And they get together in these little muddy pools at the bottom of the wady. They are rare. But every now and then you run across these little, small watering holes. He leads me again.
