In Texas, the Republican-controlled state House brought 20 impeachment counts against Attorney General Ken Paxton. The Department of Justice has been investigating him for five years but hasn't brought indictments. In most bribery or public corruption cases, you've got a quid pro quo problem,. That's not what the allegations are in Texas. He came so close to being a U.S. Senator. And this is a fun little story: After I wrote that I was against Roy Moore becoming a U.s.
