The Change in the Definition of Autism

DSM-5 dropped the illusion that you couldn't have ADHD and autism together. Up to half of kids with autism show signs of ADHD too. We can start monitoring for social development, one of the reasons we know autism is a genetic disorder. The term often used now is called a pragmatic communication disorder.
