We are unclear about the relationship between quantum information models and basian ones. There are two sides to this issue. Does there always exist a basian type model with a classical phas space, a priori distribution and basian up dating that it could explain any experimental results? Two, if both quantum and basine approaches are used to model the same phenomenon, does the quantum model imply restrictions on the basian model? Ok, so i'm, i'm not quite sure what i what counts as the scope of what you're calling a basian model.
Welcome to the August 2022 Ask Me Anything episode of Mindscape! These monthly excursions are funded by Patreon supporters (who are also the ones asking the questions). We take questions asked by Patreons, whittle them down to a more manageable number — based primarily on whether I have anything interesting to say about them, not whether the questions themselves are good — and sometimes group them together if they are about a similar topic.
