The Winter Solstice

The winter solstice is officially defined as when the line of day and night runs exactly through the north and south pole. Dr Karl says he doesn't know the exact moment which is defined, but it varies from year to year. He chose this day specifically to get married on in 2006 because they got married slightly inside the Arctic Circle. In certain cases, people have had their immune system over sensitized by something like pollen or peanuts.
