The Reclaiming of the Thing
The Thing is the best film we've ever covered on the podcast. It's reasonably in that 10. The level of rejection is fascinating to me. I just, I kind of can't get over. Like, why do we always skimp out on 1.5 million? That's like the thing that everyone cares about. And it was seen as an exorbitant fee by Universal when they were trying to make this movie.
