Is There a Causal Connection?

A lot of the Bruhahas that have occurred around this kind of question have been, for example, there have been a number of cases where a police officer or someone makes a statement advising women not to like get drunk at bars. It has the effect of implying that our society should be focused more on changing the actions of women than unchanging the actions of men. So yes, as a sound advice to a friend or to your daughter, it's perfectly sound. But a police officer, a mayor or whatever other official personality should not be engaged in that sort of thing.
