Tom Wolf wrote an essay years ago about this where he came out at the opposite way. He was asked to explain not why people do bad things, but why they do good things and what changed. If we have a sort of an antinomian system where good is described as evil and evil is described as good, you're setting up an experiment that probably isn't going to end terribly well, but it is going to end.
