Brainwash Your Thoughts and Beliefs

Rumi says everything we do is God's creative action. If you've ever suffered from writer's block, if you've ever felt like what's the point anymore, brainwash yourself with affirmations such as "I am a channel for God's creative will" I'm all for using these words even if they don't mean to you, what they mean to many people. Our thoughts and beliefs are either helpful or harmful. To think that we're now arrived at a state where we have found the correct belief and it will be for it is just fooling yourself.
