Did the Kirsk Really Suffer From Minor Technical Difficulties?
Norwegian divers were able to get inside the submarine through an escape hatch. The kursk was divided into nine water tight segments called compartments. Number one was at the front of the submarine, and then it went two, three, four,. all the way down to nine, in the very back of the submarine. A 27 year old kursk crew member, dmitri klesnakov, told us what happened inside compartment number nine.
