The company was doing $10 million in sales at that time. In 1985, so let's call it almost 20 years later, they were doing 180 million in sales. Their interest today would be worth around $12 million each. They got bought out for 200 and 300 grand. Who knows what it would have been if they waited even longer? There's a lot more to that story, but I'm going to skip over it.
