Newton's Prancipia Mathematica

Isaac Newton's Prancipia Mathematica was published in 1687. It is a detailed account of the so-called classical mechanics, humanity's first successful universal theory. The book shows explicitly how the theory accounts for disparate phenomena such as ocean tides and orbits of comets. Crucially, Newton derived Kepler's three laws.
