The union movement was built by radical organizers. In the forties, and sort of moving on from there, all these people get expelled from the labor movement. Labor fights this basically intense battle against its own left flank. And in fighting that e the unions had basically, like, massidly weakened themselves. But ragan just sort of like smashes them aside.
