I was born into a spiritual cult, so there was that. And i got out of that when i was about 16, 17. I started im thinking that it was a little bit contradictory. religion can be very useful o you don't give you community and give you principles and values. But it starts making less sense when there are internal contradictions that you start noticing. When i moved to new york at 18, i didn't really know who i was but then i came to be more myself than i ever thought i could be.
