The Transitionary Section of Exodus

Genesis seems to have so many anticipations of the later monarchic period that suggests that Genesis was edited during the monarchic period. That sort of thing doesn't stop with the book of Exodus. And we seem to have an example of it here with this genealogy. It sounds like there's some sort of announcement there of Moses's name, but if you go to chapter six and verse three, you see here, I'll start in verse two.
