I was fascinated by this beautiful creature. Florida is rife with monsters from the prime material plane and other other plane. And so that immediately got me thinking that everything that any humanoid monster would wear would be patchwork at best. I just always got a sentimentality about all of their weird piecemeal stuff, especially the knee pads or the shoulder pads with the goblin heads. Like, I just feel like those characters really loved those pieces of clothing, you know?"
