After five years of agonizing over white paint, Luke decided he had chosen the wrong color. He and his wife painted their house in a variety of colors from olive green to bright yellow. The couple also ripped up blue carpet that was on every room upstairs. After three children, they were tired of painting for an hour a day so did something else.
