Bramstoker's belief that a king vampire once lived at ashurst house bears much of the hall marks of bram stoker's masterpiece. Many have also questioned man ster's account of elizabeth voidea and barbara moriate's apparent experiences, neither of whom appeared to have ever spoken publicly on the matter. The similarity between elements of manchester's stories and bramstokers own dracula has also not gone unnoticed.
