I think that the Russia is also taking a risk deploying this mobilized army into the winter. If they haven't properly equipped or supplied them, they're taking a significant risk of what could happen with that army. I think for the Ukrainian military as well, they also might also need a break. It's hard to sustain momentum and offensive operations like this. They too might might need a pause and then look to switch more to a war of attrition.
