The Politics of Science Fiction

Jennings loves science fiction so much that he has crawled his way out of his deathbed to come talk about this particular topic for us. "I would say that it has not become too political," Jennings says, but there are some notable examples where politics has become the focus rather than the framework upon which a story is built. In regular politics, why would it work in a goddamn story where I want first and foremost to be entertained? We're all pragged to the space God that you will pull through.
