Dolingo is a language learning ap a. The creator of the company, louis vonan, was a computer science professor. He says that if you really want to teach people language on their phone, basically they need to have some kind of spontaneous conversation in the language they're learning. It's not just like randomly matched with some actual speaking another language. That's what it turns out for most people. And so their real problem is, as you know, getting to a point where a computer can have a simple but natural conversation with you.
