Hess's Personal Customized Airplane

Hess began flying at the tail end of the Great War. He's now an expert pilot, as is Hamilton, something to bond over. Hess gets training with his personal customized plane. The weather is good, as Hess heads to the airfield at Augsburg. That evening, he takes off into the sunset. On such a long solo journey, it seems most likely that Hess will have crashed. But what if he did get through? Has he revealed the plans for Barbarossa? Nazi spin machine goes into action. A broadcast is put out in forming the citizens of the Reich that, sadly, Rudolph Hess has died in an air accident. British doctors diagnose him as a paranoid schizophren
