The Prognosis of TB

In the pre-kimitharapeutic era, it could have been anywhere from six months to years. When people didn't have access to treatment, they often died of hematosis, which means bleeding from the lung. The rates of drug resistant TB are rising but there are both first line and second line drugs that effectively treat TB. Because of the rise of resistance, people have to take four drugs for standard therapy at the same time.
