Is There a Toolkit for Pastoral Formation?

I think it is incredibly liberating for somebody to learn and discover and hear a firm that you will not always experience God the same way across a lifetime. I have realized that there are seasons of a life where the way I experienced God almost feels like distant, yet assured. And my younger exuberant emotional tenant Pentecostal self would never have been able to see that way of relating to God as good and true and beautiful and authentic. So I hope it's liberating for people to say it's not always going to be like this. It requires a deep sense of entrusting ourselves to the God who is with us in every season.
