The Parable of the Rich Young Ruler
Jesus would view the rich young ruler who is respected within the community as a weed or a bad fish. He's just simply saying stop living for this age and you'll inherit eternal life, he says. Jesus taught the same thing that the prophets were telling Israel in the same same thing like it's the same message right repent the day of the Lord is at hand I think that's a great example of the parable playing out.
