How to Write a Story About a Fire in the Middle East

i never, ever, ever took on like, american muslem related stories. I had this huge fear that people were going to see me as bios or not objective. And i feel like when you're a part of a sub community, often it's sometimes easier to connect with others. People think that when we're covering a situation where there's a very clear oppressor and a clear oppressed, we just have to give them similar air time. That's not what being fair and balanced is like. Still have to be human. Like how are we making sure that there is humanity in the stories that we're telling? It's so much more important than trying to stay for two years
