How to Build a Model That Has Variability in Manifest and Measured Trust
We're trying to get all of that built into one single model. That's step one. Step two, and this is something that hasn't come up in our conversation so far, but that is to deal with measurement error in the variables that you have. If we wanted to know about stability ind a predictor, how could we parse the measurement error from that to get a cleaner estimate of the actual stability of that characteristic? So what we're trying to do simultaneously is make the model more flexible on both the independent, dependent side as well as to build measurement error accommodation into that structure.
