The Power of Connection in Recovery

This is part 5 of a series where we share tools and resources to support you as you move from discovery, to sobriety, to recovery.   These tools can be used to support anyone struggling with unwanted sexual behaviors, sex addiction, porn addiction, or other.   In this episode we discuss how and why group support and 1:1 coaching or therapy is so helpful for both the betrayed partner and the addict to experience deeper healing.

For the betrayed spouse:

 

1) Connect with a trauma therapist or coach who is familiar with sex addiction and works with betrayal trauma recovery  - look for someone who also has trauma processing modalities outside of talk therapy
