There's a general sense today that Paul was quite opposed to women's leadership roles. He mentions women in his letters as colleagues and almost co workers. In Romans 1670, he greets Andronicus and Junia, chief among the apostles. There are 27 books in the New Testament, 13 claim to be written by Paul.
