I think there's two stories where there's some kind of magic bead or some kind of, some kind of object given to someone that then changes their lives. And in your story, a sinister perfection. There's a young girl who gets a beads from a stranger and creates a doll house as much like the real house. The doll house becomes sort of more real, and whatever goes on in the doll house affects the life she's living in her real house. It takes a lifetime to write well about the magical because you're actually trying to work with it.
