Colonize Dynamic

In verminoni's text, prospero assumes a kind of patriarchal figure in the tempest to a or toward caliban. So prospero takes it upon himself to command, to tame caliban who is threatening to take miranda. And so manoni sees this as being a way to understand the colonial, colonized dynamic. Colonizers have to take it upon themselves to be these kind of patriarchal figures,. tame ing the wilderness of a colonized lands and people which is obviously extremely problematic and messed up.
