Building Scalable Models for Management of Distributed Electricity Grid Resources
The idea is to build scalable models for management of distributed electrical grid resources as a public good. In Kenya, the average energy consumption per person is less than 1000 kilowatts per year; the US national average is about 11,000 kilowatts each year. If I can use this to put together kind of an estimated ROI for energy production and understand how surplus energy can be traded with other towns in a kind of rebate mechanism, cloud-arized with local currency, then I can see an economic model for us to be able to invest in the grid.
