Philby Burgess's Sketch for the CIA
Philby paces on a charming smile for his guests as he guides Burgess to his seat. It's Bill Harvey, head of counterintelligence at the CIA. He is in charge of investigating Soviet spy rings and one of Washington's most feared men. Can I draw you? Philby looks up, alarmed. The room falls silent. Everyone stares at Burgess. A few minutes later, Burgess hands over the sketch to Libby. She jumps to her feet and storms out in tears. Her husband grabs the sketch, then throws a punch at Burgess who falls back on his chair.
