The Seven Sents of Confirmation Bias

You mention the seven sents of confirmation bias, and i want you to tell us a little bit about them. E o er, confirmation bias is very tricky because people have been developed through evolution to be in groups. It's carry to be alone. And for it's nice to be confirmed. So even if e contradicting evidence is found and exists, we tend to prefer the evidence that supports our initial belief so that you don't have this cognitive dishonance. Discarding is the sixth thin here, which is about that you explain away, or discrediting information that actually does not fit with the belief. The last one is testing. This is something that i struggle with quite often
