The Importance of Tiers in Value Pricing

I'm disappointed with how value pricing has been implemented in the profession so far. It's focused is way too much on scoping work, which takes our eye off the ball of transformations. I like tiers, but tiers should be based off of nature. Everything in tier one becomes a means totier two and everything in tier two becomes a mean to tier three. They're not scope expansions, they're nature shifts.
