The Apostles' Creed
The Apostles' Creed was written around 400 AD by a theologian named Taranius Rifinus. He says that before someone would be baptized, they had to recite the Creed audibly in front of an audience. And so if you advance in history, what we see is sort of a proto form of the Creed, and then we have a more standardized form as it's held by tradition.
