I think novels are kind of both irreverent and a little bit serious with the ideas that they'll circulate around sex, like the feminist ideas about modesty I just talked about. Poetry adopts a kind of comic attitude towards sex it treats it pretty and consequently it treats it like. It's just more conventional I'll put it that way.
