HomeKit is an open source operating system. It has to explicitly support home kit for your device to work. You can have homkit which is the sort of macos of operating systems, but it's really more of an i os of operating systems. If you use controller for home kit m or home plus, then you get more options. When you run an automation, you know, you can improve it, but apples still limiting.
