Ecoside means unlawful or wanton acts committed with knowledge that there is a substantial likelihood of severe and either widespread or long term damage to the environment. The problem it comes to in of these institutions is, how do you enforce this? How would this actually work? Is the definition too vague to be actually practical? And so that's probably where my scepticism would come in, is, how could we actually enforce this? Especially considering four of thet the biggest emitting countries in the world, india, russia, china and us aren't even part of the international criminal court.
