The Cost of Getting Lacked Off
If healthcare was nationalized, that would be so much less stressful if we had better unemployment benefits. The whole process of getting laid off would be less stressful and would ultimately be less cruel on the company's part because it's not as bad. You could actually wind up earning more money if you were laid off than when you had a job. And at that point layoffs are painless.
