The Ideological Crisis in the United States
I think if you look at the United States from 2016 to 2020, I think it looks kind of like a country and ideological crisis. The half of US politics that had previously always hated new conservatives made an alliance with some of those figures in the service of anti-Trumpism. And whether or not that's tactically in their interests, I don't know. It's been strange to see the contortions happening in US politics in the Trump area.
