"I'm a dark skin Chinese. And I was bullied whole life being very self-conscious about my skin," she says. "It's crazy because I didn't experience like, I didn't understand how prevalent that was." In terms of body types here in the U.S., you have to be skinny and curvy for certain jobs such as flight attendant or chopstick worker. There is great beauty pageant for that but it doesn't mean people are happy with what they look like.
