You Take Care of a House if It's Yours
If you own something, you have a certain devotion and attachment to it. And thet develops a special affection for that thing. This is another idea that we've been at before from different angles. That people don't go to war for like, the world or the free world. Even if we talk about it in those terms, those are actually sort of emotionally distant. What what people really do virtuous deeds for, or really sacrifice for, is their lover or their friend. Or they think, ounow. You always have to make it concrete, because we're embodied beings,. so you ave to look it like your house and your wealth and all this stuff.
