The more attractive a woman is particularly as a mating competitor the more rivalrous or the worse a competitor she is for you if she's really good looking she can get what she wants better than you can get what you want if you're another woman. Men value attractiveness in women as a cue to potential status and fertility and all of these good things so it turns out that it that's actually much more complicated when it comes to attractiveness because people want to be their friends even though they're also potentially dangerous rivals on the mating market If a woman's just promiscuous then it's easy she doesn't really possess any positive affordances for me i can just say fuck her and aggress against her.
