Blue Mundi - A New Style of Dance Music

At 12-inch single, it was effectively a vinyl format that allowed you to do a longer piece around 7 minutes, 7.30. It was something that was used very much in the dance slash club world. DJs would take an existing track and prolong it. This would all be done by cutting analog tape, repeating sections, sometimes even manipulating sections a little bit. And that would give you a version of the track that was longer and very functionally useful for the dance floor.
