I wanted to be a writer originally when I was a kid. So that's always what I thought I would end up doing. But directing, working with Robert Rodriguez, really made filmmaking feel accessible. He got me get on the crane and pulled focus every day at work. That sort of sparked that desire and means to be correct. And like, I'm the actor who, when not shooting, I'm still on set just observing because I love being on set.
